Jess has facilitated, taught and guided people aged 3-70 in a range of creative and embodied practices including Chroeography, Contemporary Dance, Devising and Yoga.
She is a visiting lecturer at Bath Spa University and has taught in community groups, schools, nurseries, gyms and art centres across London, Bristol and Wiltshire. Most recently Jess has been facilitating a series of workshops with young people across Bath centred around her latest research project.
In 2015 Jess was awarded a training bursary in "Youth Dance Leadership" from Salisbury Arts Centre.
Jess is also a 200hr certified Vinyasa Yoga teacher, training with Dr. Abby Hoffman. She first encountered yoga whilst studying at EPDM a contemporay dance conservatoire in Mazatlan, Mexico in 2008 and she has continued her journey with Yoga over the last decade. Her classes are a fusion of the vinyasa flow style, mixed with an embodied, somatic practice that Jess has discovered through her years as a dance artist.
Jess believes in the fundamental truth that we all experience and interact with the world through our bodies and that embodied movement, creative play and mediation should be available and accessible to everyone regardless of age, experience or any other category.
